Plastic Packaging Manufacturer Website
A redesign for a plastic bag factory producing PE, PP, HDPE and rotogravure-printed packaging. Buyers find a specification, estimate weight against the MOQ, and send one quotation request for several items.
01The Challenge
The original site used an online shop layout, but it showed no prices and listed the thickness of almost every product as variable. Sizes were placed inside product images, so buyers could not search or compare them.
The minimum order is set in kilograms while buyers think in pieces, and no tool connected the two. Every product ended at the same enquiry button, the catalog sat behind a form, and a multi-item request had to be explained by hand in chat.
02The Solution
The site is rebuilt as a working tool. A specification finder filters by material, colour, width, thickness and print capability, and a configurator draws the bag from the entered size, shows its weight formula, and checks the order against the MOQ. Items collect into one quotation request.
For the factory, a machine board plans extruder, rotogravure and cutting lines by shift, and unscheduled jobs can be placed into the first free slot. Planned stack: Next.js, Supabase and the WhatsApp API.
