Electrical Supplies Store Website
A redesign for an electrical supplies store and distributor with four branches. Retail buyers search a catalog of cables, breakers, lamps and panels and check out normally; contractors see tier pricing and stock per branch and send a request for quotation for their project, which sales staff price and send from their own screen.

01The Challenge
The old site read like a company profile: a slider of text-heavy banners, partner logos and paragraphs about being the best solution. The product page was a gallery of photos grouped by category, with no names, codes, specifications, prices or stock, so every question had to go through chat.
Every button led to the same WhatsApp number, mixing retail questions, bulk orders and project quotations in one queue with no reference number or response time. Branches were shown as storefront photos without opening hours or any sign of what each one had in stock.
02The Solution
The homepage puts search and a two-row category menu first, followed by a box where contractors can paste their bill of materials, category tiles, and the products contractors order most, each with retail price, the lowest tier price and branch stock. The catalog filters breakers by pole, rating and brand, and a detail panel shows specifications, tier pricing for the chosen quantity, stock in all four branches and a choice between cart and quotation.
The quotation sheet works like a spreadsheet: quantities update tier prices and subtotals, buyers can add a target price, project details and payment terms sit above the lines, and a fixed bar shows the estimate and savings against retail. Sales staff work from an inbox with status tabs and response timers; each request shows branch stock with transfer suggestions, discounts per line, and a margin check that routes low-margin quotes to the branch head. The planned production stack is Next.js with Supabase.
