Savings & Loan Cooperative Website

The old site opened with a slogan slider and a 'Learn more' button. The savings rate appeared as 5% on the homepage but 3.5% on the product page, and loan installments were spread across five long tables of around seventy rows, with a separate calculator that only offered a tenor dropdown.

The online application asked for a collateral type and nothing else, so applicants did not know which documents to prepare. Important fraud warnings (no unsecured loans, no upfront fees) sat in a long text block, every photo carried a domain watermark, and member feedback repeatedly asked for a way to check balances and installments online.

The homepage leads with an installment estimate, followed by a strip of product rates, a clickable time-deposit rate table that shows interest after tax, the loan ceiling tiers condensed into four rows, and the three accepted collateral types. Fraud warnings appear as a top banner and a dedicated block, next to the four application steps and the official offices and channels.

The loan screen splits simulation and application: amount, tenor and the full installment schedule update as the user types, while the form adjusts the document checklist to the chosen collateral. Members see savings, deposits, the savings-lottery account and their loan progress with the next installment and its virtual account. Account officers work from a review desk with document checks, repayment ratio, collateral value and survey notes before sending a case to the credit committee. The planned production stack is Laravel with MySQL, connected to the cooperative's core system.
